About the course

This course introduces manual and physical therapists to the vocal mechanism. The intended patient population is professional voice-users (singers, teachers, lawyers, etc) or those with musculoskeletal factors contributing to vocal fatigue, pain with swallowing, poor breath support, and difficulty with managing trunk pressures. Participants will learn voice related anatomy, physiology and biomechanics as well as how to assess and treat the trunk, head, neck, temporomandibular joint and larynx for optimal voicing. Following this course, you will be able to begin treating MSK issues related to voice symptoms in your clinic on the very next day.

This course is appropriate for physical therapists, massage therapists, speech therapists, chiropractors, and athletic trainers.

CEU approvals will be updated soon!
